Fantastic! Saw it via Wil Wheaton's tumblr and reblogged it myself. Just wanted to stop by and say it kicks ass.

Genius! Make a shirt.

I don't mean to be That Guy, but I think "maching bird" is a typo... but if you fixed that (and made it in 1920x1200) you'd have a killer wallpaper... just saying.

This is rather excellent.
Could the Leonardo Da Vinci version be next (obv with dissection..!)?

I think Maching bird is correct... it's a pun on Mocking, but based on the yellow bird's ability to speed really fast... breaking the sound barrier (mach 1) in the process.

And I too would buy a t-shirt with this on it.

You have the red and yellow birds switched. Yellow = breaks wood. Otherwise, cool.

Amazingly wonderful art!

But bad Latin :(

Short version: should be "aves iratae"

TL;DR version:

As in English, "aves" ("birds") is a plural noun. However, unlike most English, all Latin nouns have a grammatical gender, not necessarily related to the biological gender (if any) of the thing the word describes. "Avis" ("bird") is feminine.

So far so good! However, also unlike English, adjectives have grammatical number (singular and plural forms) and also have grammatical gender. So to describe a feminine plural noun like "aves", the adjective also has to be feminine plural.

"Iratus" ("angry") is masculine singular. The feminine plural of this adjective is "iratae". Therefore, "angry birds" is "aves iratae".

Like! Want this exact colour scheme for a T-Shirt! Maybe with an outline of the Galapagos background.

Please register and copyright your artwork. It's obvious from the replies here, there's a market for it. The medium you chose is entirely up to you. Find an agent to represent you. Good luck. Act now while the subject is currently hot.
