Las Ness

A post I did for Art Jumble for the subject of huge monsters. Las Ness, my combination of the Loch Ness monster and El Chupacabra facing off against an even bigger foe, recession.

Horrible.

Every month or so I stumble upon the Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog sitting in my iTunes library I feel it mandatory to give it another watch. Yesterday was one of those days and while it enriched my day with its infectious melodies, I decided to do a little sketch in the meanwhile.

Redrawn to life

I saw an article on Drawn about coveredblog a site dedicated to the art of redrawn comics. Immediately I was fascinated and did my own; a tribute to one of my personal favorite comic covers from Mr. Quesada. I wanted a more vintage crime story cover from the 60's.

Punisher: Bar Journel

If I were to list my fav comic book "heroes" atop the list would be Deadpool, Hitman and The Punisher. What that says about me, I do not know.
